It is OK
Life has a way of throwing unexpected curveballs our way
and leaving us grappling with emotions we never anticipated

When you are grieving for someone you love
it is OK, if you want to hide from the world
but it is OK too, if you want to go out with friends
it is OK, if you feel like crying your eyes out
but it is OK too, if you feel like laughing defiantly
When you are mourning for your loved ones
it is OK, if you want to talk to strangers about them
but it is OK too, if you do not want to speak of them
it is OK, if you want to speak to no one for a while
but it is OK too, if you want to move on with your life
When you are sorrowing over your lost ones
it is OK, if you want to display and look at their photos
but it is OK too, if you want to put their pictures away
it is OK, if you want to hold onto their memories
but it is OK too, if you want to eject every memory

I am a motherless daughter and an adult orphan, who loves passionately and grieves intensely, as I write and share about my personal grief journey with others, after I lost my darling Mum on 04 October 2022
to major stroke so suddely and so unexpectedly, with the hope that it might comfort, help and inspire people on their own journey.
"Mum, I carry your strength
with every step I take
on this new path "
